One more year, the Ciutats Defensores dels Drets Humans Project counted on us to organize the interpretation team that would cover all the events and meetings that took place between September 26 and October 7, 2016, two intense weeks we spent with these incredible people. The Project is organized by the Comissió Catalana d’Ajuda als Refugiats, with the collaboration of l’Agència Catalana de Cooperació al Desenvolupament and 12 City Councils of the Province of Barcelona and Girona. Ciutats Defensores aims to give visibility to the humanitarian cause defended by these activists, who testify of value and integrity, since they and their families are or have been victims of more fundamental human rights abuses.
